General terms and conditions of business

Zero Wine Club

Effective: August 2025

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed by consumers (§ 13 German Civil Code – BGB) via our online shop.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or self-employed professional activity.

3. Conclusion of Contract

By listing products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these products.
You can place products in your cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order.
The contract is concluded by clicking the order button in the checkout process.
After purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details.

4. Contract Language & Storage

The contract language is German.
We do not store the full contract text permanently. Your order details and our GTC will be sent to you by email.
Your past orders are not accessible online for security reasons.

5. Prices & Shipping Costs

All prices are in euros and include the applicable statutory VAT.
Shipping costs are added as follows:

  • Germany: flat rate of €6.90

  • EU countries: shipping costs vary by destination country – details can be found under "Payment & Shipping"

6. Delivery

Delivery is made exclusively by shipping.
In-store pickup is currently not available but may be offered in the future.
We deliver within Germany and to selected EU countries.

7. Payment Methods

We offer the following payment options (depending on availability):

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

  • PayPal

  • Sofortüberweisung / Klarna

  • EPS

  • Giropay

  • Bank transfer via payment link

Payment processing is handled by external service providers such as Stripe, Wix Payments, or PayPal.
We do not store your payment data.

8. Subscription & Pre-Orders

We offer recurring services as part of a subscription with durations of 3 or 6 months.
You can register in advance for the subscription. The first charge will be made the month before the first shipment – e.g., mid-September for an October start.
The registration deadline for the first delivery in October is 15.09.2025.
Subsequent payments are made monthly, just before each shipment.
Exact durations, terms, and benefits are detailed in the respective product description.

9. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a legal right of withdrawal.
Details can be found in our separate cancellation policy.

Note: The right of withdrawal expires for sealed goods if the seal has been removed after delivery (pursuant to § 312g(2) BGB).

10. Returns of Specific Products

Returns are only accepted for unopened, undamaged bottles in their original packaging.
Non-returnable items include:

  • Opened or damaged bottles

  • Personalized items (e.g., gift cards with a custom message)

Returns must be made within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

11. Retention of Title

The goods remain our property until full payment is received.

12. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply.
For used products, the warranty period is 12 months unless otherwise stated.
Further details on guarantees (if applicable) are listed in the respective product descriptions.

13. Liability

We are liable without limitation for:

  • Injury to life, body, or health

  • Intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty

  • Guarantees, if agreed

  • Claims under the German Product Liability Act

In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties), and only for foreseeable, contract-typical damage.
All other liability is excluded.

14. Online Dispute Resolution

The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution:

We are willing to participate in an alternative dispute resolution procedure.

15. Youth Protection

Our products are alcohol-free and not subject to age restrictions.
Should we offer alcoholic products in the future, we will implement appropriate age verification procedures.

16. Final Provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
If any provision of these GTC is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
